HBA-UK announces new Leadership and Committee roles for 2024-2026

The Hellenic Bankers Association UK (HBA-UK) is delighted to announce the composition of its new Executive Committee and the assignment of key leadership roles for the 2024-2026 term. Following a successful election and deliberation process, the HBA-UK is committed to continue its mission of fostering professional growth, enhancing global networks, and strengthening the ties between the Greek and Cypriot diaspora and international financial markets.
Executive Committee Leadership
The newly elected Executive Committee members and their appointed roles are as follows:
Xenofon Zacharoudis – Chairman and Head of the Executive Committee
Alexandros Tsourinakis – Vice Chairman and Head of Management Committee
Fay Konstantinidi – Head of Global Relations and Diaspora Engagement Committee
Demetri Nikolias – Head of Innovation and Development Committee
Georgia Tsiavou – Head of Community and Membership Committee
George Sotiropoulos – Head of Communications Committee
Katerina Ilia – Head of Events Committee
Christina Nousia and Christopher Siakkas will act as alternate members, further strengthening the team’s capacity to achieve its goals.
Acknowledgment of Outgoing Leadership
The Association extends its gratitude to outgoing Chairman George Katsikas and the previous Executive Committee for their exceptional leadership and contributions over the past two years. Mr. Katsikas will continue to support HBA-UK in a senior coordinator role within the Chairman’s Circle, ensuring that his invaluable experience and insights remain available to the Association's leadership in an advisory capacity.

The new Executive Committee is excited to announce a special Christmas Drinks Event to celebrate the festive season and bring our community together. The event will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2024. We encourage everyone to save the date, with more details to follow in the comming days.
