Chairmen’s Circle Forum
Over the past decade, the Chairmen’s Circle of HBAUK has organised a series of high-profile debates and discussion panels on Greek and Cyprus related issues, under the Chatham House Rule. These exclusive events provide a forum of discussion between senior figures from Greece and Cyprus and finance professionals in the City of London. The Chatham House Rule is designed to increase openness of discussion of current affairs, as it allows individuals to express and discuss opinions and arguments with a clear separation from the opinion and their organisations. Please note that the Association does not publish the events within the Chairmen’s Circle Forum. To register your interest to attend any of our prospective events within the Chairmen’s Circle Forum, please send an email to hba@hellenicbankers.org.uk.

The Executive Committee of HBA-UK is delighted to announce the upcoming launch of the first edition of “HBA-UK School Awards”, aiming at secondary schools and universities in Greece and Cyprus. The award will be given annually to a student who produces the best piece of extended written work related to finance, as judged by an HBA-UK panel of academics and professionals within the field of finance. If you wish to get involved in the panel of the HBA-UK School Awards, please send an email with a brief biography and credentials to hba@hellenicbankers.org.uk.
Charity Support
Our Annual Summer Ball will be in support of a charitable organisation or foundation. We are looking for recommendations and suggestions from our members and followers. If you are aware of a charity which is active in Greece and/or Cyprus and you wish to nominate to HBA-UK Charity Support, please email hba@hellenicbankers.org.uk.
