Hellenic Bankers Association – UK (HBA-UK) elects new Executive Committee, formalises its advisory board Chairman’s Circle and appoints Ambassadors in financial institutions in the City of London.

London, Wednesday, 21 February 2018: The Hellenic Bankers Association UK (HBA-UK) announces the election of the new Executive Committee following the Association’s biannual Ordinary General Meeting which took place at the Hellenic Centre on the 7th of February 2018.
The new Executive Committee is: Chairman: Louis Loizou (Loizou & Co); Vice Chairman: Viki Fotopoulou (Barclays); Head of Communications Committee: Mary-Irene Alexandrakis (DVB Bank); Head of Events Committee: Georgia Galouzidi (Russell Investments); Head of Development Committee: Kelly Kalaitzaki (Morgan Stanley); Executive Member: Grigorios Hatzigrigoriadis (Credit Suisse); and Executive Member: Dimitra Falida (Citi).
The Chairman’s Circle consists of all the past Chairmen of the Association and its role is to primarily oversee the Association’s long term strategic direction and provide support and stewardship to that end. Its current formation is: Antonis Ntatzopoulos, Stratos Chatzigiannis, Christos Megalou, Notis Mitarakis, Michail Zekkos, Yiannis Kyriakopoulos, George Matsakas, and Andreas Zobanakis.
Besides, the Executive Committee has appointed 15 Ambassadors within various financial institutions and organizations in the City of London. The Ambassadors represent the Association and assist the Executive Committee in implementing its duties.

The Hellenic Bankers Association – UK (HBA-UK) was founded in 1994 to promote a closer co-operation among Greek and Cypriot Bankers and finance professionals based in London.
